Originating from the ship building city of Nikolaev in the Ukraine, "Black and White" joined together to become the best handvoltige act of its kind. Each member began his training at 5 years of age, and their devotion and hard work has led them to an illustrious career.

In 1995 they were European professional champions, and silver medalists in the World Championships in Vrotslav, Poland. In 1997 they achieved the ultimate ranking of Absolute World Champions in Manchester, and later that year were World Games Champions in Lahti, Finland. Unstoppable they continue and in 1998 become silver prize winners at the World Championships in Minsk. Then in 1999 the group overcome some difficult changes and go on to win the World Championship in Gent Belgium.

In the year 2000, inspired by working with actors of the theatre "Bingo", and together with the talented, young regisseur Iroj German, they created their current number, "Black and White". In 2002 their new number won them a silver medal at the world famous "Festival Mondiale du Cirque de Demain Paris", and were later part of the television production "Stars in der Manege" in Munich, which led to their invitation to perform with" Pomp Duck and Circumstance" in Berlin, where they gave an astounding performance before nearly one million people at the unveiling of the Brandenburger Tor.
